Description
English: Unknown Soldiers grave in Grace Church Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland. It contains the remains of seventeen unknown Confederate soldiers whose bodies were recovered after a July 1864 skirmish by Confederate General Jubal Early against Washington, DC. The previous monument was toppled during demonstrations after the murder of George Floyd.
