Español: La Universidad Estatal de Moscú, cuyo nombre completo es Universidad Estatal M.V. Lomonósov de Moscú (en ruso: Московский Государственный Университет имени М. В. Ломоносова - МГУ; transliterado: Moskóvskiy Gosudárstvenniy Universitét ímeni M.V. Lomonósova - MGU), es la mayor y más antigua universidad de la actual Federación de Rusia, fundada en 1755. En 1940 la universidad fue renombrada con el nombre de su fundador Mijaíl Lomonósov. Desde 1953 ocupa uno de los rascacielos ("vysótniye zdániya") más emblemáticos de Moscú situado en las Colinas de los Gorriones (Vorobióvy Gory). En el año 2004 la universidad tenía cerca de 4.000 profesores, 31.000 estudiantes y 7.000 doctorandos.
English: Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU; Russian: Московский государственный университет имени М. В. Ломоносова) is a coeducational and public research university located in Moscow, Russia. It was founded on January 25, 1755 by Mikhail Lomonosov. MSU was renamed after Lomonosov in 1940 and was then known as Lomonosov University. It also claims to house the tallest educational building in the world.[2] Its current rector is Viktor Sadovnichiy.

В. Ломоносова», широко используется аббревиатура «МГУ».
