Description
English: U.S. Navy Fire Controlman 1st Class Dennis Fairbanks and Fire Controlman 2nd Class Armando Pena load ammunition into a close-in weapons system aboard guided missile frigate USS Underwood (FFG 36) before a live-fire exercise in the Pacific Ocean May 18, 2012, during Unitas Pacific (PAC) 2012. Unitas, Latin for "unity," is an annual USSOUTHCOM-sponsored, multinational naval exercise designed to enhance security cooperation and improve coalition operations between South American and U.S. maritime forces.
