Summary
[edit]DescriptionUndulating fields - geograph.org.uk - 1114257.jpg |
English: Undulating fields Not all of Norfolk is flat - the landscape in North Norfolk was formed during the last ice age, leaving distinctive topographical features such as the steep northern slope and the more gentle southern face of the Cromer Ridge with its outlying spurs, hills and undulations. This view was taken in northeasterly direction, across frozen fields. The fields with winter crops growing are covered with frost, whereas the ploughed fields are not white. Beech Farm (in adjacent grid square) can be seen in the background (at right) and Willow Farm can just be glimpsed at left. |
