| Description | The entrance patio to Uncle Tan's base camp. This place also offers accommodation, if you wish to stay a couple of days away from the city (I won't say hustle and bustle of the city as Sandakan is a rather quiet little town) and explore the Rainforest Discovery Centre and the Sepilok Orangutan Rehab. Centre. To go on the 3D 2N trip to the Kinabatangan, you need to report here in the morning by 09:00, have breakfast, and take their transfer to the Sepilok Orangutan Centre, if you wish. Back to the base camp, and then off to the jungle camp at 14:00. If you do not wish to go to the Orang Utan centre, you can report directly here at 13:00, have lunch and join the group to the forest.
