Pyramid with mortuary temple (α): A – pyramid; B – sarcophagus; C – burial chamber; D – antechamber; E – substructure entrance; F – entrance (north) chapel; G – descending and horizontal corridor; H – corridor chamber; I – porticullis (3×); J – magazines (serdab); K – magazines; L – sanctuary (offering hall) with false door; M – pyramid court; N – antichambre carrée; O – five statues niches; P – transverse corridor with exits into court; Q – enclosure wall; R – subsidiary pyramid (ka tomb) with substructure; S – atar; T – open courtyard with columns; U – entrance hall; V – causeway (upper ending). Valley temple (β): A’ – causeway (lower ending); B’ – magazines; C’, D’ – backside rooms; E’ – side portico; F’ – transverse corridor; G’ – portico; H’ – ramp, slipway; I’ – harbour. Queen’s pyramids are in some cases outside of complex behind enclosure wall with their own wall and mortuaty chapel.

Údolný chrám (β): A’ – vzostupná cesta (spodné ukončenie); B’ – zásobné priestory; C’, D’ – zadné miestnosti; E’ – bočný portál; F’ – priečna chodba; G’ – portál; H’ – rampa, sklz; I’ – prístav.
