Marques, inscriptions, poinçons: Lettre - Inscription au recto, imprimée en noir au dessus de l'image : " Béotisme Parisien. / 5 ", dans l'image en bas à droite : " Bourdet ", en dessous de l'image : " Au bureau chez Aubert, gal Véro-Dodat. ; Lith. Junca, pass. Saulnier, 6, Paris / Un Turc ! un Turc !! / Le béotisme parisien confond, sous la dénomination de turc, tout persan, / arabe, arménien, ou juif d'Asie qui peut se trouver à Paris. Ce Turc devient un objet de curiosité et d'étonnement, on le suit, on se le montre comme on fait / d'un ours ou d'un chameau. "
