Description

Se trata de adivinar el lugar de la fotografia...

Encontramos el término municipal de Montealegre de Campos en el límite septentrional de la provincia de Valladolid, junto a los núcleos meridionales de Palencia, situado en la Tierra de Campos, en los Altos Torozos.

A una altitud media de 800 metros sobre el nivel del mar, con unas impresionantes vistas, desde la que se podrán ver hasta unos 40 pueblos de distintas provincias del norte castellano-leonés, así como la inmensidad de la Tierra de Campos y la silueta de toda la Cordillera Cantábrica, los Montes de León y parte de la Cordillera Ibérica. 


Presenta un clima seco durante la estación de verano pero los inviernos pueden llegar a ser muy duros y con frecuentes nevadas.


La extensión que ocupa esta localidad es de unos 34 kilómetros cuadrados aproximadamente, se halla a 35 kilómetros de la ciudad de Valladolid.

Antes de entrar en el pueblo, en sus cercanias nos encontraremos la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Serosas, la que también es conocida como "la estrella de Campos".
