| Description |
English: Cidade de Umm Ruwaba, Sudão, 55.000 habitantes, ontem. Área urbana em salpicado no alto à esq. Localizada no Sahel semi-arido, com precipitação de 300 a 500 mm por ano, sua agricultura é principalmente irrigada por estar sobre um grande aquífero a uma profundidade em torno de 100m. O padrão quadriculado de laranja a marrom são lotes principamente com gergelim, milheto e sorgo e criação de camelos, ovelhas, gado e cabritos. Ao S da cidade fica um uádi, rio temporário, agora na temporada chuvosa cheio com água, em preto, e com macrófitas, em verde limão / Umm Ruwaba City, Sudan, 55,000 people, yesterday. Urban area appears in saltpepper, at image left top. Localized at semi arid Sahel, precipitation from 12 to 20 inches per year, its agriculture is mostly irrigated since it is over a large aquifer, about 300 feet deep. Orange to brown checkred pattern are plots with sesame, millet and sorghum, besides camels, sheeps, cattle and goats raising. South of town lies a wadi, temporary river, now at rainy season flooded with water in black and in lemons green where with macrophytes.
