Dibujo de Luis Fernando Rojas para el Correo de la Exposición, copia del óleo original del pintor uruguayo Juan Manuel Blanes. La escena reproduce los últimos momentos de Carrera antes de ser fusilado en Mendoza el 4 de septiembre de 1821. El sacerdote que está a sus espaldas conminando a los soldados que esperen a que Carrera termine de hablar es José Benito Lamas. |
