English: Ten mysterious monolithic stone pieces are set over a number of locations at the site of the old Outwood Colliery which closed following a serious fire in 1931. The reclaimed land now forms part of the Outwood Trail and Country Park. Forming part of the Irwell Sculpture Trail, the slabs were designed by artist Ulrich Rückriem and installed in 1999. |
