Deutsch: Baldachin über dem Haupttor des zum Zeughaus gehörenden Reiterbaus, trägt das Monogramm und Steinmetzzeichen Peter Schmids. Der Baldachin trug ursprünglich den Reichsadler und das Stadtwappen, im 19. Jahrhundert wurde dies durch das Wappen des Königreichs Württemberg ersetzt. Gelistet auf S. 775 in Georg Dehio: Handbuch der deutschen Kunstdenkmäler: Baden-Württemberg II, ISBN 3-422-03030-1.
