Description
Deutsch: Die zentrale Herdbrücke in Richtung Ulm gesehen; in früherer Zeit war hier eine Donaufurt, die Flusspassage einer der bedeutendsten Handelsstraßen jener Zeit, die beherrscht wurde vom Reichenauer Hof (rechts der Brücke, oberhalb der Stadtmauer, die im Jahre 1480 von den Ulmern "mitten in den reißenden Fluss" gebaut worden war). Der Standplatz des Fotografen ist die Donau-Insel, welche dann schon im Mittelalter mit Ulm durch eine Brücke verbunden war.
