Description
Deutsch: Blick aufs Ulmer Donau-Ufer von der Herdbrücke aus flussabwärts; ganz links der Reichenauer Hof, die Turmspitze gehört zum "Haus der Begegnung" (früher: Dreifaltigkeitskirche), rechts an das neue kubistische Gebäude schließen sich an, der "Rosengarten" (ein kleiner Park) und (auf Höhe der beiden direkt am Donauufer stehenden Bäume) die Adlerbastei, von wo aus Albrecht Berblinger fliegend die Donau überqueren sollte. Hinten der dunkle Großbau ist das "Maritim"-Hotel und am rechten Rand ist ein Stück der dritten Donaubrücke zu sehen: die Gänstorbrücke. Die Stadtmauer wurde im Jahre 1480 von den Ulmern "mitten in den reißenden Fluss" gebaut.
