Description
Deutsch: Ulmer Münster, Detail aus dem Buntglasfenster Johannes-Fenster (im Chor links vom Altar, zweites Fenster vom mittleren Fenster (Ratsfenster) aus gesehen), Ulmer Werkstatt Acker, nach 1400, Stifter: unbekannt – Bildbeschreibung: im unteren Teil dieses Fensters sind Johannes der Evangelist und die Legenden über ihn dargestellt - diese Scheiben sind im Fenster die dritte Reihe von unten – zu sehen ist links die Gefangennahme des Johannes, rechts davon die Legende, als er einen Giftbecher trinken musste und überlebte, im Gegensatz zu den zwei zum Tode Verurteilten, die unten liegen, ganz rechts die Geißelung des Johannes, oben auf der Galerie vier Propheten; (Quelle: Erhard John, „Die Glasmalereien im Ulmer Münster“, Langenau / Ulm 2007, Seite 53 und 54)
