Description
Deutsch: Der fertige Prüfkörper wird mittels Kran auf zum Ofen transportiert. Hier sieht man die Unterseite. Die kanadische Prüfungsnorm ULC[1]S-115 schreibt vor, dass die Durchbrüche 12“ (30cm) in den Ofen reichen müssen, um dort Hitze aufzunehmen, die beim Durchleiten das Schott auch von innen belasten. In Deutschland schreibt die DIN4102 eine Länge von 1m vor, welches realistischer ist. Nordamerikanische Wandöfen, insbesondere, sind dazu nicht tief genug.
English: The completed test sample is being lifted by crane to the test furnace for the fire endurance test. By contrast, European furnaces can typically allow up to a 1m penetrant depth to reach into the furnaces. North American panel furnaces are not deep enough to accommodate this more realistic exposure.
