Description
English: Ukraine 1918-1923, Kyiv type I violet trident overprint on 70 kopeks Russian Imperial stamps. Introduced as temporary measure, rubber handstamps for overprinting sheets of kopek values. Type I was the first of the hand stamps to be used in Kyiv. A number of different types exist. The normal colour of ink was violet for this type. [1] Signed UPV.
