English: Tourists taking a break near the pond in the garden of the Rodin Museum in Paris. The central statue is Ugolino and his children and was created circa 1881. Driven crazy by hunger, Ugolino, Count of Gheradesca, devoured his dead children, a crime for which he was eternally damned. |
