[edit]DescriptionUS soldiers, civilian contractors mentor Afghan Border Police in Spin Boldak DVIDS429904.jpg |
English: Afghan Border Police consolidate training-simulated weapons, drugs and bombs found after conducting a vehicle search exercise at the ABP Border Center in Spin Boldak, Afghanistan. U.S. Army soldiers assigned to NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan partnered with military contractors to instruct ABP in weapons fundamentals, room clearance, establishing road check points, and conducting vehicle and foot patrols. The seven-week program is designed to strengthen training for the border police as it seeks to combat insurgent activity along Afghanistan's 1,200-mile boundary with Pakistan.
