Description
English: U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Kristal Wise observes an Afghan National Army (ANA) medic provide tactical field care to a simulated casualty under a bunker during the care-under-fire phase of a combat life saver class at Forward Operating Base Gamberi, Afghanistan, March 27, 2013. Wise, a health care specialist assigned to Company C, 27th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, based out of Fort Hood, Texas and native of Miami, Fla., taught ANA soldiers different types of medical care including tactical field care, care under fire and various ways of to evacuate a casualty during the week-long course.
