U.S. Navy Lt. William Jansak uses a balloon made from a rubber glove to ease the fears of a young patient during a physical examination at Los Limones, Chinandega, Nicaragua, on March 8, 2005. The U.S. Navy Operational Health Support Unit is operating in three locations throughout Chinandega as part of Operation New Horizons 2005. New Horizons is a humanitarian and civic action program conducted by the United States Southern Command. U.S. service members are deployed to the area to conduct engineering and humanitarian aid missions, including the construction of four schools and two medical clinics in areas of Nicaragua.
