English: PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 12, 2010) An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Royal Maces of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27 is the final fixed-wing aircraft to depart the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as the ship nears the end of its 2010 patrol, marking the end of the 2010 deployment schedule for George Washington. Since pulling out of port on May 18, 2010, George Washington has traveled 51,700 nautical miles and safely launched and recovered 8,351 aircraft.
