English: PACIFIC OCEAN (June 6, 2009) Lt. j. g. Colin Morrison performs "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes at the conclusion of a burial at sea ceremony for Capt. Dale Simmons on the forecastle of the guided-missile frigate USS Thach (FFG 43). Simmons was a former wingman of the ship's namesake Adm. Jimmy Thach, one of the many heroes at the Battle of Midway. The Sailors on board Thach also paid homage to all their shipmates who fought and died at Midway with a wreath laying ceremony held prior to the burial at sea.
