Description
English: PEARL HARBOR (Jan. 28, 2009) Gas Turbine System Technician 3rd Class Clayton Kraus tests a manual valve hydraulic control station aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG 65). Chosin recently participated in the first Commander, Naval Surface Group Pacific Mid-Pacific Surface Combatant Group Sail supporting the Pacific Fleet Mid-Pacific Surface Combatant Operational Employment program. The program calls for all Hawaii-based surface combatants to focus on the western Pacific Ocean by conducting intermediate and advanced training and scheduled deployments in the western Pacific Ocean.
