English: CLEVELAND (Nov. 13, 2008) Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 1st Class Donald Hammack, right, Engineman 1st Class Donovan Williams and Chief Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Electrical) Raymond Quezada, all assigned to the littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1), cheer after the Cleveland Cavaliers score a point during a basketball game against the Denver Nuggets at the Quicken Loans Arena. Freedom is in Cleveland for a scheduled port visit after being commissioned Nov. 8 in Milwaukee. Freedom is the first of two littoral combat ships designed to operate in shallow water environments to counter threats in coastal regions.
