Description
English: GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 26, 2008) Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Phillip Kennedy, assigned to the "Bear Aces" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 124, re-installs the pressure bulkhead on the nose of the E-2C Hawkeye in hangar bay one aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8 are conducting operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility and are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
