English: NEW YORK (Oct. 7, 2008) Visitors to Grand Central Terminal in New York browse the "Great White Fleet," an exhibit presented by the Columbus Citizens Foundation in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary of the Navy. The exhibit, which will be on display in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall through Oct. 17, commemorates the voyage of the Great White Fleet in the early 1900s. Sent out by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1907, 16 battleships circumnavigated the globe on a goodwill mission and display of American naval power.
