English: PACIFIC OCEAN (July 16, 2008) Aviation Ordnanceman Airman John Townes, from Danville, Va., moves a Laser Guided Bomb Unit (GBU-16) into the aft bomb handling area elevator aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2008. RIMPAC is the world's largest multinational exercise and is scheduled biennially by the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Participants include the U.S., Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
