In addition to the enlistment ceremony, the Reds also honored the capstone event of Cincinnati Navy Week with a Navy Parachute Team performance, the 25th reunion of the Reds-sponsored Navy Boot Camp Company 233, a Bronze Star presentation to a local Reservist, and by having Wachendorf throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
