Natalie Derfus organize medication at the Taviran Elementary School during a medical civil assistance program (MEDCAP). Rivera and Derfus, attached to Naval Medical Center San Diego, are embarked on board USS Peleliu (LHA 5) in support of Pacific Partnership 2007. In the long-standing Navy tradition of rendering assistance at sea and from the sea, Peleliu is working with the local government and non-governmental organizations to offer medical care and civil engineering during Pacific Partnership.
