Description
English: CATALINA ISLAND, Calif. (May 11, 2007 - Sailors attached to Beach Master Unit (BMU) 1 stand by as a U.S. Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5 delivers firefighting equipment from Los Angeles County Fire Department to Catalina Island in support of the massive wildfires. The fire on Catalina Island has so far ravaged more than 4,000 acres and is one of the largest fires in the area in years.
