Description
English: NORFOLK, Va. (March 27, 2007) - Eddy Medina, senior recruiter for C.W. Bill Young Department of Defense Marrow Donor Program explains to a Sailor aboard amphibious transport dock USS Nashville (LPD 13) how to properly swab his cheek and place his swabs in a packet to send to the laboratory for bone marrow testing. The samples are sent to the C.W. Bill Young Department of Defense Bone Marrow Center Laboratory to be put into the National Marrow Donor Program Registry. There are more than 400,000 DOD personnel from all branches of service and their families registered to possibly save someone's life.
