Pearl Harbor, HI (Nov. 9, 2006) Engineman 1st Class Rafael Rangel, Explosive Ordnance Disposal support specialist assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Three, Detachment Middle Pacific, watches as two Pearl Kai elementary school students reach from a Mk-5 Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) for a bag of goodies from the robotic hand of an Andros robot during a Family Fun Fair. The Andros robot, which is used by EOD technicians to disarm explosive devices in the field, was one of the many items the Sailors brought with them to the Fun Fair. The Fun Fair presented an opportunity for Sailors and families to achieve a sense of community belonging by allowing them to interact with the Pearl Kai students, families and school faculty for an afternoon of fun and enjoyment.
