NAS ESG is comprised of, amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4), guided missile-cruiser USS Cape St. George (CG 71), and amphibious transport ship USS Austin (LPD 4). NAS ESG successfully completed a six-month deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism, where they conducted Maritime Security Operations for the U.S. Fifth Fleet and Theater Security Cooperation for the U.S. Sixth Fleet.
