The VS-24 "Scouts" have been serving in the Arabian Sea aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. While deployed, the Scouts flew 1,450 sorties totaling more than 4000 hours. The crew flew 229 direct combat support missions and 790 combat flight hours, integrating with British and Australian ground forces in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
