English: Guinsahugon, Republic of the Philippines (Feb. 21, 2006) - U.S. Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) unload a SH-60 Seahawk helicopter assigned to the "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Five (HSC-25). HSC-25 delivered supplies and equipment to the village of Guinsahugon, from the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). Harpers Ferry and the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) are conducting operations in support of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts on the island of Leyte, following the Feb. 17 landslide that devastated the town of Guinsahugon located in the southern part of the island.
