HSC-21 is conducting Air Ambulance training in the desert near El Centro, Calif. where the scenarios involve treating personnel injured by improvised explosive devices (IED) in the middle of an Iraqi populated area. HSC-21 will soon relieve the Air Ambulance personnel in Iraq. Air Ambulance units fly into dangerous situations to provide emergency care to injured personnel and transport them to medical facilities.
