English: Republic of Korea (Nov. 11, 2005) - Republic of Korea American and Korean Improved Ribbon Bridge rafts, carrying tanks, cross the Yam Ha river during a river crossing demonstration in support of Exercise Hwang So-06. Marines assigned to the 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, Republic of Korea’s 1175th River Crossing Group soldiers, ROK Marines and Reconnaissance Marines from 2nd ROK Marine Division conducted a river crossing demonstration, under combat-like conditions on the Yam Ha River. The annual river crossing demonstration is the capstone event that marks several engineer training exercises the 9th ESB conducts throughout the year. Exercise Hwang So-06 is a two-fold operation, which allows Marines and Sailors to conduct combined training with the ROK military in order to improve our interoperability and strengthen our national relations.
