English: Atlantic Ocean (Nov. 3, 2005) - Sailors aboard the dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) hold on to a phone and distance line as it is connected to the British Royal Navy vessel RFA Wave Ruler (A 390) through out an underway replenishment off the coast of Senegal during the West African Training Cruise (WATC). Steaming on Wave Ruler´s port side is the Royal Dutch Navy amphibious transport dock HNLMS Rotterdam (L 800). The WATC enhances security cooperation and fosters new partnerships between the United States, North Atlantic Treaty Organization partners and the participating West African nations of Ghana, Senegal, Guinea and Morocco through real-world training and engagement opportunities.
