(Oct. 26, 2005) – U.S. Navy Instructors assigned to Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) Gulfport, build a ramp that will provide easy entry into a travel trailer for a retired Navy Seabee. The Moral, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) department on board Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, purchased 43 trailers and gave them to the Navy Family Housing Office to manage. The Navy Family Housing Office manages all 43 MWR trailers used for temporary housing and will be located on the property of individuals affected by Hurricane Katrina while they rebuild their primary residence.
