English: Indian Ocean (Sept. 27, 2005) – U.S. Navy Lt.j.g. John Vaughn, assigned to the “Tophatters” of Strike Fighter Squadron Fourteen (VFA-14), right, explains the cockpit functions of an F/A-18E Super Hornet to an Indian naval officer during a distinguished visitors embark aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently participating in the exercise Malabar 2005 off the coast of India. The exercise is designed to increase interoperability between the two navies while enhancing the cooperative security relationship between India and the United States.
