English: Changi Naval Base, Singapore (June 10, 2005) - Engineman 3rd Class Ramel Cade, assigned to USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43), chases in pursuit of the basketball during a combined U.S. Navy and Republic of Singapore Navy sports day. The two navies took a day off from ship's work during exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2005. Two other CARAT task group ships, USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) and USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60) also participated in the sports day. CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asia nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
