English: Dallas, Texas (Apr. 1, 2005) - Dallas Cowboy football legend, Roger Starbach, presents the members of the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team, "Blue Angels", with autographed footballs as a token of appreciation for their service to our nation. The "Blue Angels" visited High Schools throughout the day talking to students about Navy and Marine Corps Opportunities. This was one event of many that took place during Navy Week Dallas. Twenty such weeks are planned this year in cities throughout the U.S., arranged by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO). NAVCO is a new unit tasked with enhancing the Navy's brand image in areas with limited exposure to the Navy. U.S. Navy photo by Journalist 1st Class Bill Kerstetter (RELEASED) |
