Description
English: Atlantic Ocean (Mar. 25, 2005) - Sailors assigned to the Air and Engineering Departments aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), test the countermeasure wash down sprinkler system on the flight deck during the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier's sea trials. A countermeasure wash down utilizes a mixture of Aqueous Film Forming Foam and salt water to counter a flight deck fire or chemical, biological, radiological attack.
