English: Yokosuka, Japan (Mar. 20, 2005) - Aircrew from Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron One Four (HS-14) is embarked aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) lowers memorabilia from the Kitty Hawk Strike Group to a Vishnya-class AGI ship, Kurily (SSV-208), as a goodwill gesture. Kurily adjusted its course earlier in the day, allowing Kitty Hawk and embarked Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) sea space to perform scheduled air operations. The Kitty Hawk is currently participating in the annual joint exercise Foal Eagle with the Republic of Korea. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR), Kitty Hawk demonstrates power projection and sea control as the U.S. Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, operating from Yokosuka, Japan.
