English: Atlantic Ocean (Feb. 15, 2005) – Navy Diver, Chief Hull Technician John Coffelt, is lowered into the ocean from USS Grapple (ARS 53). The Conroe, Texas native is a member of the 106-member crew of Grapple, a salvage and rescue ship which has been tasked with recovering an MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter from the ocean floor near the coast of Virginia. The MH-53E, assigned to the "Vanguards" of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron Fourteen (HM-14), was on a routine training mission when it went down approximately 28 miles off the coast of Virginia.
