English: Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia (Feb. 14, 2005) – Lt. Allison Johnson, assigned as Air Operations Officer aboard the Military Sealift Command (MSC) hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), throws a stuffed animal to a group a Indonesians at a camp for internally displaced persons in Banda Aceh on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Lt. Johnson and other Mercy Sailors visited the camp to pass out toys donated for the people of the Tsunami devastated region. Mercy is serving as an enabling platform to assist humanitarian operations ashore in ways that host nations and international relief organization find useful. Mercy is currently off the waters of Indonesia in support of Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian relief effort to aid the victims of the tsunami that struck Southeast Asia.
