English: Douala, Cameroon (Feb. 7, 2005) - Hull Technician 1st Class Jacob Dutchover, assigned to the R-1 Division, Repair Department, tightens down a wheel as he repairs wheelchairs for citizens of Douala, Cameroon, aboard USS Emory S. Land (AS 39). The wheelchair repairs were one of the many community relations (COMREL) events scheduled while in the port of Douala, Cameroon. Emory S. Land is a forward deployed submarine tender, home ported in La Maddalena, Italy, that provides logistical support and repairs to all Sixth Fleet surface and submarine assets.
