English: Persian Gulf (Jan. 24, 2005) - An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the “Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Five (VFA-105) is directed onto one of the four steam-powered catapults prior to being launched off the flight deck aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Harry S. Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.
