Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Jan. 20, 2005) - Flight deck trouble shooters, assigned to the “Yellow Jackets” of Electronic Attack Squadron One Three Eight (VAQ-138), give the okay to launch their squadron’s EA-6B Prowler off flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier is participating in a Joint Task Force Exercise (JTFEX), the ship's final phase before leaving on its scheduled deployment. Carl Vinson is scheduled to arrive in Norfolk, Va., upon completion of her deployment in preparation for her refuel and complex overhaul. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate Airman Chris M.
